I have been watching this humurous controversy for past couple of weeks. My quest inspired me to request John Chow and John Cow to answer some of my questions regarding this controversy. I asked a set of same questions to both. Both of them were kind enough to quickly respond to my queries. I would like to present the questions and answers here.
Q1.We have been seeing a site named www.johncow.com, which looks exactly like your site. What do you feel could be the purpose of them making their site exactly like yours?
John Chow said, "Isn't it obvious? They want to leech off the success of my site."
On asking the same question John Cow replied, "We recognize a working formoola when we see one and are basically leeching of his success."
Q2.John Cow seems to be banging your posts all the time. How do you feel? Would you want to respond to them some time in the same way?
John Chow said, "They can bang till the cows come home. Wait. Did I say that?"
John Cow replied, "Not all the time, we just bang when we are at home."
Q3.Do you have any associations with this site?
Both of them did not make any comments on this question.
Q4.Any comments / suggestions that you would want to make about John cow dot com / John Chow dot com?
John Chow said, "John Cow dot Com is one cool cow."
John Cow replied, "John Chow dot Com is one cool Chow."
Now all these replies force me to think in a different direction, are these both guys a single person or two different people??? I would keep on trying to find it out... what do you say...
Update: And now there is a new twist in the tale (did i say tail !!). With a Chow and Cow already in the scene we have a buffalo who has entered into this controversy. I hope to see some more humor in the coming days.
